Quality Engineer

Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect current production for quality
  • Inspect measurements of products and components for their compliance with documentation
  • Take part in ready product final testing
  • Contact certification units
  • Control nonconforming products
  • Instruct suppliers to carry out Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) of welded structures and supervise their implementation
  • Prepare and supervise product quality documentation
  • Introduce improvements in the work area you are in charge of

Requirements:

  • Technical education
  • Ability to make measurements using control and measurement instruments
  • Familiarity with MS Office suite

Other skills an advantage:

  • Previous work experience in quality control
  • Knowledge of English
  • Knowledge of technical issues in the area of welding and rust proofing
  • Certified NDT, IWI and/or ISO internal auditor
